University of Richmond to Host Estate Planning Seminar

The University of Richmond will host its 32nd-annual Estate Planning Seminar May 14 in the Robins Center.

The first session will begin at 8:30 a.m. with an economic and market outlook from John K. Lynch, chief market analyst for Evergreen Investments. Robert Lew, president and founder of Planning and Financial Advisors in San Francisco, will give the keynote address at 2:30 p.m. on "Family Values/Charitable Giving--Surprising Results from Goal-Based Planning."

Other topics include recent developments in estate planning law, IRS law, probate law and gift annuities.

Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. A reception at 4 p.m. will follow the seminar.
The seminar is for estate planning professionals in such fields as law, accounting, banking, life insurance and financial planning.
