PROGRAM INFORMATION:
One of the leading international baroque chamber music ensembles,
Musica Antiqua Köln will close the music portion of the Modlin
Center's Seventeenth-Century Baroque Festival with a program titled
"La Cremora: Italian Violin Music from 1600-1720." The
group, which consists of three violinists, a cellist and a harpsichord
player, will perform selections from Marini, Fontana, Schmelzer,
Matteis, Purcell, Vivaldi and others.
