DIRECTOR OF ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS

The Director of Athletics Communications is involved in all aspects of the department's extensive media relations program with emphasis on publications, video projects and web site.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Oversee the production of all publications;
  2. Direct the production of all athletics videos;
  3. Coordinate with other departmental personnel the activities and updates of the athletics web site;
  4. Assist in all aspects of media relations;
  5. Assist in all areas of sport coverage
  6. Provide game management and operational assistance at designated events;
  7. Assist with supervision of student interns and employees.

The Director of Athletics Communications reports to the Associate Director of Athletics for Communications and Public Relations with lines of communication to the Sports Information Director.
