ASSOCIATE ATHLETICS DIRECTOR FOR ADMINISTRATION


The primary responsibility of the Associate Director of Athletics for Administration is to assist the Director of Athletics with the day-to-day administrative operations of the Department and complete special projects as assigned. Specifically, the Associate Director of Athletics for Administration's job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Manage assigned sports (Baseball, Men's and Women's Soccer and Field Hockey and Lacrosse): Supervise and evaluate the Head Coaches of assigned sports; Administer the day-to-day operations, to include preparing game schedules and contracts; Recommend budgetary items and review expenditure of funds within each sports' budget.
  2. Oversee the following support areas: Strength/Conditioning, and Video Services. This includes: Supervise and evaluate the Head of each department, Recommend budgetary items and review the expenditure of funds within each department's budget.
  3. The development and implementation of the Department of Athletics' strategic plan.
  4. Work with the Associate Director of Athletics for Events and Facilities on athletic facility renovations.
  5. Liaison to the Athletic Council.
  6. Assist in the coordination of fund raising activities for the Director of Athletics, Spider Club and Head Coaches of the assigned sports.
  7. Coordinate the internship program for the Department of Athletics.
  8. Assume other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

The Associate Director of Athletics for Administration reports to the Director of Athletics.
