ASSOCIATE ATHLETICS DIRECTOR FOR ADMINISTRATION
The primary responsibility of the Associate
Director of Athletics for Administration is to assist the Director
of Athletics with the day-to-day administrative operations of
the Department and complete special projects as assigned. Specifically,
the Associate Director of Athletics for Administration's job responsibilities
will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage assigned sports (Baseball, Men's and Women's Soccer
and Field Hockey and Lacrosse): Supervise and evaluate the Head
Coaches of assigned sports; Administer the day-to-day operations,
to include preparing game schedules and contracts; Recommend
budgetary items and review expenditure of funds within each sports'
budget.
- Oversee the following support areas: Strength/Conditioning,
and Video Services. This includes: Supervise and evaluate the
Head of each department, Recommend budgetary items and review
the expenditure of funds within each department's budget.
- The development and implementation of the Department of Athletics'
strategic plan.
- Work with the Associate Director of Athletics for Events
and Facilities on athletic facility renovations.
- Liaison to the Athletic Council.
- Assist in the coordination of fund raising activities for
the Director of Athletics, Spider Club and Head Coaches of the
assigned sports.
- Coordinate the internship program for the Department of Athletics.
- Assume other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
The Associate Director of Athletics for Administration reports
to the Director of Athletics.
