Who Should Attend the Allies Institute?
- Anyone who is willing to participate in tough conversations about race, class, gender and sexual orientation
- Anyone who is open to exploring their beliefs and feelings about prejudice and discrimination
- Anyone who is receptive to learning about the experiences of others and willing to share their own
- Anyone who is interested in building stronger relationships across lines of difference
- Anyone who wants to be an agent of positive and lasting change
The Allies Institute is open to all UR students: undergraduates, law school students, graduate students and Continuing Studies students. Whether you are an ally or not, liberal or conservative, a member of a minority group or not -- regardless of your background, if you are a UR student you are welcomed to apply.
