Admissions

Evening School
The Evening School offers open registration.

  • Non-Degree-Seeking Students
    If you are not pursuing a degree or certificate, follow the registration guidelines for "New Undergraduate Students - Not Seeking a Degree."
  • Degree-Seeking Students
    If you are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree or certificate, complete the appropriate formal application process before registering.

Summer School
Students must be admitted to the School of Continuing Studies before registering for Summer School.

  • Students New to the University of Richmond
    If you have not previously attended classes at the University of Richmond, you must complete the application process before registering.
  • Continuing University of Richmond Students
    • If you are attending the University of Richmond during the Spring term, you do not need to contact the Summer School office before registering.
    • If you are a University of Richmond student but are not attending during the Spring term, call the School office at 804-289-8133 to be reinstated before registering.

Office of Community & Professional Education
OCPE offers open registration to all students.

Complete the registration process to attend classes from the Culinary Arts Program, the Landscape Design Certificate Program, the Institute on Philanthropy, and the current Think Again catalog.

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
Admission to classes through the Osher Institute is open to Institute members only.

Complete the membership application in order to be admitted.
