Class schedules are published for each semester and for the summer sessions.
Schedules list courses that will be offered in the upcoming semester; refer to
the school's catalog for a full list of courses available (but not necessarily
offered in a given semester).
Fall 2008 Registration Rotation
Please note that you register under
your current, not future, class moniker, i.e. if you are a
junior (a "rising senior"), you register during the junior

Registration Checklist
Before registration begins,
please make sure you have completed the following:
-
Know Your Registration Class –
Students will register with their current
class, not their future (or "rising" class). For
example, if you are a current junior, you will register
in the "Current Juniors" time slots.
Registration class for
transfer students is assigned at time of admission - be
sure to contact the Office of the Registrar if you are unsure about the
class with which you will register.
-
Check Holds
– Using BannerWeb, check to see if you have any holds that might prevent you
from registering for classes. Clear these holds with the appropriate office.
-
Check Prerequisites and
Corequisites
– In BannerWeb, click on a class’s title to find out what other classes you
might have to have already taken or might need to be currently taking in order
to register for that class.
-
Take Care of Overrides
– Make sure you have arranged for necessary overrides to be implemented by
academic departments.
-
Visit Your Advisor –
Set up an appointment with your advisor, who will give you the Term PIN you
will need to register.
-
Check Your Inbox –
Make sure you have read any and all emails or SpiderBytes from the Office of
the Registrar. Also, be sure to check out
http://oncampus.richmond.edu/academics/registrar for up-to-date rotation
information.
The University of Richmond
does not honor exceptions and registration re-entry in the case of situations
that could have been resolved beforehand.
