abroad!

Have a great picture from your time abroad? Submit it to
the 2009 International Education Photo Contest! First and second
place prizes are awarded in a number of categories. Student pictures must
have been taken after January 1, 2008.
Entries for the 2009 contest are due January 23, 2009.

Instructions for Submitting a Photo

Faculty, staff, return study abroad
students, international students and exchange students may enter one image
in each category that is appropriate to their standing.

Photos submitted in the return
study abroad students category must have been taken while a student
was studying abroad during their time at the University of Richmond.

Digital images may be e-mailed to
Catherine Orr,
corr@richmond.edu. Hard copy photographs may be brought to
Catherine Orr in the Office of International Education, or mailed to her
at: Catherine Orr, International Education, Puryear Hall

All submitted digital images MUST
be saved as: Entrant's name, comma, institution where you studied abroad,
comma, title of picture, comma, where the picture was taken, comma and the
semester and year you studied abroad. If you do not save your
picture in this format, it will not be considered for participation in the
judging.

Submitted hard copies of images
MUST include the entrant's name, institution where you studied abroad,
title of picture, where the picture was taken and the semester and year
you studied abroad on the back of the image.

Release Form-when
submitting a photograph, you must also e-mail or mail this form. If
e-mailing the form, please save a copy on your computer as your last name
and then the word release and e-mail to Catherine Orr, corr@richmond.edu.
