International and Returned Study Abroad Students-share your
international experience!

Have a great story or reflection from your time abroad? Want to share a
piece of your home country or your experience as an international student
at Richmond? Submit an essay or other piece of writing to
the International Education Writing Contest! First and second
place cash prizes ($150 and $75) are awarded as well as the opportunity to be published
in university publications.

Instructions for Submitting to Writing Contest

Return study abroad students,
international students and exchange students may enter one writing
submission.

Essays should be between 500-750
words. Other forms of writing will also be accepted and should not exceed 750 words.

Submission must be word documents sent as attachments to
Catherine Orr,
corr@richmond.edu.

All submissions must include:
For
return study abroad students:
Entrant's name, title
of submission, institution where you studied abroad, semester and year
you studied abroad.
For exchange students:
Entrant's name, title
of submission, home institution, semester and year you studied at
Richmond.
For international students:
Entrant's name, title
of submission, home country, year you are at Richmond (first year,
second year etc.)

Release Form-when
submitting a writing piece, you must also e-mail or mail this form. If
e-mailing the form, please save a copy on your computer as your last name
and then the word release and e-mail to Catherine Orr,
corr@richmond.edu.
