There are many immigration regulations that apply to international students and scholars on non-immigrant visas. The International Student Advisor (ISA) is available to discuss these regulations with international students and scholars. It is essential that you fully understand the rights and limitations of your visa status. Immigration regulations are highly complex and technical; therefore, it is imperative that international students consult the ISA with questions concerning immigration. The ISA keeps abreast of the latest immigration issues and is responsible for all immigration concerns at the University. The ISA will keep you updated as the immigration regulations change. If you seek advice from other sources on campus, i.e., professors, friends, administration, and they misinform you, the ISA may not be able to rectify the situation.
