
Weather can often be very dangerous because it is very powerful. Severe weather refers to weather that has the potential to harm humans and the environment. There are different types of severe weather including: floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, thunderstorms, and blizzards.One reason why the study of weather is so important is because of severe weather. In the case of severe storms, the more notice that a storm is coming, the greater human chance of survival. Can you imagine what would happen if we did not know that a tornado was approaching? People would get hurt.
