This site was created for elementary school students, specifically for those in the 2nd grade and up.
This site specifically meets the Virginia Standard of Learning 2.1:
The student will study the contributions of ancient Egypt and China which have had an impact on world history, with emphasis on written language, laws, calendars, and architectural monuments such as the Pyramids and the Great Wall of China. However, this site was not created with only 2nd grade students in mind. Students of the higher elementary grades will particularly benefit from this experience of learning off of the World Wide Web.
