Learners
This lesson encompasses third grade history
and civics as well as language arts and art. However, this lesson could also
be extended and modified for fourth grade students.
Students will need to know:
- that there has never been a woman president.
- that Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman, Susan
B. Anthony and Abigail Adams are important women in history.
- that a campaign team works together
to elect a person to political office.
- how to gather, classify and interpret
information.
