This lesson can be an essential part of the science
curriculum when focusing on marine life. Students will learn an abundant
amount of general information pertaining to Beluga whales, including but
not limited to: physical characteristics, eating habits and the social
environment of Beluga whales. This lesson also addresses other disciplines
including Mathematics and Language Arts. Students will learn how to write
a polished proposal that includes all of the information that they have
researched. This lesson will also teach the students how to work cooperatively
in groups as well as how to deliver a successful presentation.
