The wallpaper is an exciting point of view because it can see all of the characers and their motivations. If you think that the wallpaper would be too limited a perspective then you can write from the point of view of the house itself. You must make sure that the wallpaper does make a contribution to the story if you write from the house's perspective.
Here are some questions to keep in mind while you are doing your research.
1, How would the house/wallpaper percieve the relationships between the characters?
2. Is the wallpaper actually evil or misunderstood?
3. How does the house/wallpaper react to the woman going crazy and staring at it all the time?
