Conclusion

One of the most overlooked of the literary elements is point of view. Ironically it is the element most applicable to a student's life. This lesson endeavors to show students that, like life, stories have a point of view and it is not always right. There are other ways of looking at situations. Students have a tendency to look at the point of view in a story as being the 'correct' way to look at a situation. Hopefully this creative writing will help them to understand that there is no 'correct' way to look at any situation. It is all a matter of perspective.
