Evaluation

You will be evaluated on an individual and group basis. You will have two scores; one for your individual work and one for your group work. Therefore, one of your grades may be higher than the other. Your final grade will be determined by averaging your individual and group scores.

Paragraphs

 

 

Paragraphs do not meet length requirement, thoughts are unorganized, with several grammatical errors.
Paragraphs are somewhat organized, central idea is present but not obvious and contains a few grammatical errors.
Paragraphs are complete, good organization of central idea with no more than one or two grammatical errors.
Paragraphs are thorough, well organized, central idea is obvious, and contains no grammatical errors.

Group quietly and diligently discusses the material to reach a conclusion on the items to include in an effecient manner.

 


 

Presentation

 

 

Presentation lacks preparation, requirements for time capsule are not not met, and importance to the time period is not explained.
Presentation completed with little preparation, connection of time capsule items and time period is not thoroughly explained.
Presentation shows prepartion, requirements for time capsule are met and relevance to time period is explained.
Presentation shows prepartion and organization, time capsule items and relevance is thorough and appealing to the audience.
