Introduction

Congratulations, you have been selected to the President's speech writing committee!  The first female President is due to give her first State of the Union Address.  She plans to outline her agenda, but she needs you to help her plan the most effective speech that will incorporate the topics and issues that are most important to the people.  This Address is televised nationally and will formally introduce the goals that the President has set for herself and her administration.  The following WebQuest will outline the steps that you need to take to help the President achieve this goal. Remember that the President is counting on you to help formulate a speech that will show the people that she is concerned about them and plans to concentrate on the issues that are most important to them.
