Secretary of the Department of Education

As Secretary of the Department of Education, you will advocate the educational needs of society.  You will research the attitudes, ideas, and needs of society as a whole to determine how the President should address her plans for improving education in the United States.  You will also consider how the media will react to the President's position (or lack of position) on current issues.

You should consider, but not limit yourself to:

• National standards for education
• Year-round education
• Funding for private schools
• Charter Schools
• School violence

How can the President responsibly and realistically set and plan to attain goals for her remaining four years?
