This WebQuest is designed to take several class periods. Students need time to research their roles, come to a decision as a group and create a poster illustrating their gained knowledge and final consensus. This WebQuest involves interdisciplinary aspects by combining science concepts with the art of debate and discussion.

Students should be assigned groups to ensure effective task completion. Teachers could choose four different shapes and create the shapes in different colors. Students would then choose a shape. The color of the shape would determine their group and the shape would determine their individual role in the group project.

If students engage in web surfing, there needs to be proper screening devices and monitoring by the teacher.

The teacher needs to be proficient at keeping groups working on the assigned task and helping to lead the students to a consensus.
