Evaluation
Students will be evaluated
on their abilities to:

pick out appropriate data from
the websites presented according to their role while doing research

apply abstract ideas to form
concrete materials (i.e. the report)
-
present relevant information
in respect to their assigned role in the form of writings, drawings, etc.

organize material gathered
-
work efficiently with other
group members in the assignment and completion of roles, making sure all
students are working equally as a team
-
take the perspective of pioneers
as they research and record data
-
share their ideas by communicate
in a number of ways such as drawing, writing, and speaking
Use of a point system can be
used for evaluation. On a five point basis, five being the highest, and
one being the lowest, students are ranked by the teacher and by one another
on each "piece" that is contributed to the final report that is sent to
the eastcoast of the United States. Creativity, quality of work, and relevance
will be used to judge.
