Learners

This lesson is designed for fifth grade students and focuses mainly on Math and Language Arts. You students will be required to have basic knowledge of how to use the Internet. Beyond the technology aspect of the WebQuest, your students must have a strong understanding of writing and the process because this Quest only reviews the concepts included. Having sufficient knowledge of grammar rules is important because they will be creating an actual final copy of their book. Since students will be creating a book, it may be helpful to give them time to let them browse through some different children's books to get ideas if they are unfamiliar witih them because they have been focused on reading chapter books. Also, learners must have the ability to focus and really work cooperatively with their peers because they are required to collaborate what they learn and complete a project based on that collaboration.
