The Process
1. First you will be assigned to a team of 3 students. Each student on your team will represent one of the following roles: settler, Native American, and slave.
2. Once you have been assigned a role to play, you will complete the letter as if you were that person, living during the time of early Jamestown. Write the letter in cursive. Be sure that your letter answers the questions outlined in The Task.

6. After you finish researching your roles, come back together and plan your map of the Jamestown settlement. Dont forget to prepare your presentation and decide who will talk about which parts!
