A Native American in Colonial Jamestown

Your role is to complete your task as if you were a Native American in Jamestown, Virginia in the year 1609. Native Americans were among the first people to arrive at Jamestown, Virginia. There were a few times when the Native Americans would get along with the English settlers. However, the two groups spent most of their time fighting and arguing over food and land. The Native Americans in Jamestown lived in long houses that were shaped tunnels and covered in bark.

While you are doing your research, you will use this worksheet to answer several important questions about your role. At the end of the project, you will need to turn in the completed worksheet to your teacher.
