Evaluation

You will be evaluated based on the following rubric. The 15 minute video will be a group grade and the Communicative Spanish and 4 page paper will be individual grades. The cooperating section is also individual and will be determined by the teacher based on the one page responses of the other group members.

Communicative Spanish
(25 points)

Limited vocabulary is used and grammar is elementary, language inhibits the understanding of the presentation greatly. Grammar and Vocabulary mistakes are frequent, language does not flow. High Spanish proficiency is apparent, grammar and vocabulary is used in an exemplary fashion.  
Cooperating Respectfully
(25 points)
Students lack ability to compromise, to focus on task, and to work together. Ability to work together is observed, however major differences deter task's completion Students focus on the task and show the ability to support the needs of others.  
Generate 15 Minute Video
(25 points)
Non-creative, less than 10 minutes, many words mispronounced, overall presentation-incomplete Show some creativity, length is 10-14 minutes, occasional difficulty with pronunciation and overall presentation-complete Shows lots of creativity, lenght is 15 minutes or more, successful use of rules for pronunciation and accents, overall presentation-excellent  
Generate a 4 page Composition on Ecuador
(25 points)
Paper is less than three pages, is unorganized, and does not reflect what the student has learned about Ecuador Paper is less than four pages, has some organization, and only reflects a little of what the student has learned about Ecuador. Paper is at least 4 pages, is well organized, and reflects a good understanding of Ecuador.
