You will need to follow these steps in order to complete your task appropriately. Notvenos will help you understand...
T - Notvenos was created in an attempt to explain thigns to the students in a simpler way without straying from the storyline.
Step1. First you'll be assigned to a team of four students. Each of you must then choose one of these roles:
T - Grouping is left up to you, you know who works well together and who doesn't. Remember these tasks require great compromise and team work, so be very careful in grouping.
"This will be your role for the duration of the quest, and you should become an "expert" in your field. You will present your opinions to the group during discussion, therefore preparation and research is a must."
Step 2. Now that you have chosen the role that you will play, it is time for you to research your area in order to become an "expert."
"It's time for you to learn. I have provided below a few resources that I'm sure you will find helpful. The first few are basic history and knowledge about Egypt, which you should all know already, being the good citizens that you are. After exploring these pages, it will be time to become an "expert." Explore the link pages for your role that I have provided... You may want to search for other sites and information to supplement these. Don't forget to check out the others sites too, it may be helpful for you to know about others roles as well. Besides you may find information relevant to your role in on other pages. Sometimes I feel like I'm doing all the work for you."

T - You will need to encourage them to explore the sites of their other "experts." Many contain information that could pertain to their own field. This is also important for students to grasp the different information that is being presented.
Step 3. Now that you are experts it is time to start the planning. The group will now begin the discussion and decision making process. This will have to be broken down into different parts and done in a specific order. The following process should be followed in the discussion.
T - Watch this process closely, this is the area where evidence of their work will be evident. you must also watch out for disputes, although with the procedure outlined there shouldn't be.
"Ok so you know what you are doing now right? WRONG! I took the luxury of outlining the topics you will have to discuss and have suggested an order to follow... But you four are rather stubborn and do like to do things your own way so... You don't have to follow my order exactly just make sure you discuss them all and let the expert lead the discussion.
T - These are just suggestions and are not meant to be followed exactly unless you choose to. Other problems and questions will arise and will need to be discussed.
Oh yeah don't forget to write your journal page for each topic discussed about how you were involved and what input you gave. This is so we can decide who was working and who had the good ideas, and rid ourselves of the useless members."
Step 4. So you know what, where, when, how, and why you are building what you are building. now it's time to put together your portfolio and presentation to present to the Pharaoh.
"I have provided you with a few suggestions on what to keep in mind and discuss when developing each portion of your portfolio:"
Design/Blueprint

Slave or Volunteer Positives and Negatives What type of stone? How far must the stone travel? Should you even use stone? Procedure Plan
What procedures should be used? How long will it take? What will have to be done? All Major Steps: Planning, Preparartion, Implimentation, Completion History/Memorial Explination
Who is this built in honor of? What is the history behind the choice? Give a brief history of Egypt
Step 5. It is time to present your final outcomes to the Pharaoh. Decide who will talk about what but everyone must talk. You will only have about ten minutes so make your ideas clear and concise.
T - This is your time to be impressed. You are the Pharaoh in this situation and they will be tryign to impress you and convince you to choose their project. Feel free to set this up however you would like, in whatever order and in any manner you wish. You could even dress the part if you so wish.
