Now that you've heard all about the many dolphin-related issues and the different points of view that people take, you can see that it is difficult to come up with one solution that will satisfy each aspect of the debate. If you only looked at one of the issues it would be much easier to remedy the dolphin issue. However, so many things are involved and affected by this debate that you must look at the entire scope of problems. This does make it more difficult to create one final solution. To understand this complex topic you must consider the entire picture, rather than just the part that you find interesting. By reviewing all sides of the issue, you will be more knowledgeable on the topic as a whole, which will also strengthen your argument or viewpoint.
Congratulations! You are now very open-minded individuals. You should be proud of yourselves! How can you use what you've learned to see beyond the black and white of a topic and into the grayer areas? What other parts of the "dolphin-safe tuna" issue could still be explored?
Remember, learning goes beyond the classroom . . . So, don't limit yourself.
