This WebQuest should help your students develop individual skills in several areas. They should finish with a better understanding of the internet, some new researching skills, and the ability to relate two different school subjects. These skills will help them not only in your class, but throughout their lives.

Often in school subjects are studied in isolation. While students may understand The Crucible and they may understand McCarthyism, they rarely see the connection. We hope that this WebQuest will show students that literature is often closely tied to history.
