This lesson is designed to support the state of Virginia's third grade science Standards of Learning that cover animal adaptations. This WebQuest also incorporates language arts and research skills.

Students should have a basic understanding of animal adaptations, including structural and behavioral adaptations, hibernation, migration, and camouflage prior to beginning this WebQuest.
