Environmental Awareness Group

Charge:

The Environmental Awareness Group (EAG) will monitor progress toward meeting the environmental goals in the Campus Master Plan, report frequently to the campus community on the extent to which these goals are being met, initiate studies of the campus environment, recommend to the Provost steps that the University should take to protect and improve the natural environment, and promote environmental sustainability on campus.

Membership:

The EAG is chaired by a tenured faculty member and consists of two additional faculty members (all three faculty to be appointed by the Provost with the consent of the Committee on Committees), the Director of Facilities, one additional Facilities staff member, one staff person selected from the Staff Advisory Council, and three students.
