Welcome!

The transition from high school or another college or university to the University of Richmond is an exciting, challenging, and sometimes, an uncertain time. You will begin the year with dozens of questions, fears, and goals. How well those questions are answered, the fears conquered, and the goals met will help determine the quality of your overall college experience. The Greek system exists as a support system for thousands of men and women across the country and may provide some of the answers to your questions as you embark on this period of life. A fraternity or sorority can help personalize an individual's college experience by offering close friendships and support, scholastic assistance, hands-on experience in leading committees and managing budgets, exposure to potential careers through educational programs and discussions with alumni, and the chance to help the community through service projects.
