RC Xtreme

Your trail at UR starts here...

RC Xtreme is a program focused on assisting students to challenge themselves in ‘extreme’ environments.  Those students, "Xtremers," live together in one residence hall and participate in a series of events and activities designed to help students form a community within the University.

RCX activities kick off the week you arrive and continue through your first semester.   Members of RCX live with other first-years in Marsh hall, but are grouped in a designated section within the building.  The RCX community even has a dedicated Resident Assistant (RA) that helps plan all RCX activities and participates in the program.   The Xtremer community is always tightly knit as a result of the shared experiences and outdoor challenges.

The RC Xtreme program is packed with different activities and events.  During the week, Xtremers learn different skill sets and prepare for upcoming events.  On the weekends, Xtremers get the opportunity to face many challenges and have tons of fun.  Some events will take place on-campus, some in the Richmond area, and some out-of-state.  Academics are extremely important to the advisors, and they make sure that RCX happenings do not interfere with class and study times.

Xtremers should expect to learn about themselves while sharing their first-year experience with men who have similar interests.  Xtremers have the opportunity to confront themselves and realize what they can achieve.  Plan on having tons of fun while bonding with other first-year Richmond College men.

How extreme is Xtreme?

Although much of the program is based on physically challenging activities, no prior experience is necessary.
